Our neighborhood:

A compact, self contained wooden cabin, with internet access and small library. The property lies just outside the small, quiet village of Whaplode Drove which is situated in the heart of the fens - a wider region of open vistas and waterway, sitting low against high earth banks which separate the land from the sea.  The village has a general store, petrol station, bar, community centre, art gallery and church. There is a main rail link to Peterborough from London in the south and Glasgow in the north and from Peterborough, a connection to Spalding. The main road link from London is the A1. From Whaplode Drove, there are buses to the nearby towns of Holbeach ( 9 miles ) Spalding ( 8 miles ) and Peterborough ( 18 miles ) These local towns offer a large number of stores, services and cultural sites.
